Our team understand how nervous some patients can be and all have a genuine desire to help. Whether it be making a cup of tea for a patient or taking the time to explain any dental jargon, nothing is too much trouble.

Sedation available for nervous patients

NHS treatment is available to those under 19 in full-time education. We set aside a full day each half-term and school holiday for all under 19s so parents can avoid the after school rush. During our children's days, our patient lounge is transformed into a fun area with a PS2, inflatable bowling, sugar free drinks and snacks. These days are free to all children regardless of whether they are registered at the practice of not.

Comfortable surroundings
As most of our children are seen during our children's days, our practice remains calm and tranquil at all other times. We have 5 air-conditioned treatment rooms that are all bright and airy to make our patients as comfortable as possible. Rather than lying flat talking to an upside down dentist, all rooms have leather armchairs where patients can sit and discuss their treatment over a cup of tea should they wish.

Cutting-edge Technology
We use technology to make our patients comfortable such as DVD goggles and massage chairs. We use lasers, intraoral cameras, apex locators, fibre-optics and ultrasonics which is consistent with our high quality approach.

Fully accessible
Our practice is located on Ware Road and has an onsite carpark for our patients. Having a bus stop at the front of the practice we also have great access by public transport. East Hertford train station is 5 minutes walk away and links to Liverpool St station. We also have full disabled access facilities should any of our patients require this. Appointments can be arranged from 7am to 8pm, we are also open on Saturdays.

Prevention is better than cure
We strongly believe that "prevention is better than cure," and are one of the few practices in the country to have a dedicated preventive dentist to take our hygiene service to a level of excellence. Our comprehensive hygienist service is available 6 days a week to ensure fresh breath, healthy mouths and teeth for life.

Oral cancer screening
Our team of professionals regularly screen not just for cancer but for all conditions that may appear in the mouth. We have an excellent in-house oral surgery facility that is lead by a consultant oral surgeon avoiding hospital waiting lists for treatments such as removing wisdom teeth.

Implants
As our implants are carried out by a maxillo-facial surgeon not only are our success rates among the highest in the country (98%) but we are also able to place implants in patients who have not had teeth for years.
