What is an implant?
A dental implant is a substitute for a natural root. The implant comes in three parts
1. The Fixture
2. The Post
3. The Crown or Bridge
The first stage in replacing a single or multiple missing teeth is to place the fixture. This is then left to integrate for 3-6 months.
Once the Integration has occurred the post is then placed and then crown or bridge is fitted 2 weeks later.
Implants can be used to replace one tooth or to replace a group of missing teeth.
Implants can also be used to provide fixed support for denture wearers

Day of appointment:
Morning:
Attend the practice and have four dental implants placed. We then take impressions and send them to a dental laboratory.
You relax in our comfortable surroundings
Afternoon:
Your new implant bridge is returned from the dental laboratory and fitted onto your implants.
This is fixed so you will never need to remove it, and does not cover the roof of your mouth so you can enjoy the taste of good food once more!!!
Home time:
Have a celebration with your loved ones as you now have a confident new smile, can eat and taste your food properly, and your social life as you once new it can begin again.
