Replace Missing Teeth
Do you have missing or loose teeth that you have been advised to remove?
Are you concerned about the appearance or do you have trouble eating because of the gaps?
Maybe you have a denture already and are often left embarrassed by its loose grip while eating out and interacting socially?
There are several ways to replace missing teeth:
Implants:
Implants offer the best way for replacing teeth, whether you have lost one, several, or all of your teeth. The result looks and feels just like natural teeth and allows you to live, laugh and enjoy life with full confidence. We have many years of experience in restoring smiles using the latest implant systems.
What is an implant?
A dental implant is a substitute for a natural root. The implant comes in three parts
1. The Fixture,
2. The Post
3. The Crown or Bridge
The first stage in replacing a single or multiple missing teeth is to place the fixture. This is then left to integrate for 3-6 months.
Once the Integration has occurred the post is then placed and then crown or bridge is fitted 2 weeks later.
Implants can be used to replace one tooth or to replace a group of missing teeth.
Implants can also be used to provide fixed support for denture wearers

Dentures:
Dentures can be used to replace one or more missing teeth.
Plastic Dentures:
When you first loose teeth people often have a plastic denture made first of all as an immediate replacement for the tooth/teeth they have lost. Many people have their second denture made from this plastic and then encounter problems a few years later with the grip the denture provides. Other people may have a full denture made from plastic where all the teeth from the mouth are missing. The bottom full denture will eventually become loose in time as the bone shrinks and the denture has nothing to hold onto to.
Flexible plastic dentures:
Flexible dentures are the latest in denture design
If you are a denture wearer or have been told that you need a denture please check with our team of dentists if this denture is suitable for you.
These dentures have many benefits from the standard plastic dentures:
• Smaller in size
• They don't break
• Lighter in weight
• Healthier for your tissues
• Less visible than some other plastic and metal dentures
Chrome Cobalt Dentures:
These dentures are the Ultimate in dentures. They are made from a lightweight material, and grip onto existing healthy teeth meaning they do not become loose when eating. They are different to wear compared to their bulky cousin the plastic denture. Some people with full dentures choose the have the roof of the mouth made with this material as it is kind to the tissues as well.
Bridges:
Dental bridges are fixed and cannot be removed. They are false teeth anchored on neighboring teeth in order to replace one or more missing teeth. The false tooth is fused in between two crowns that serve as anchors by attaching to the teeth on each side of the false tooth and thereby bridging them together.
