I was given the opportunity to have a smile make over by Dr Sam Smith at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London. It was a long procedure, but under the guidance of top cosmetic dentists from America, Sam prepared my ten crowns with great care, dexterity and professionalism.
I attended two sessions, each taking over four hours in the dental chair. Firstly the preparation, then back the following week to have the crowns fitted. At each session Sam gave me the utmost care and consideration throughout.
In conclusion, Sam has a great talent for Cosmetic Dentistry which she carried out with care and understanding of her patient. She also takes great pride in her work. So instead of my aged discoloured 'upper set' I can now smile with confidence. My teeth are the best accessory I own!!"

I searched Google for local dentists for tooth whitening because I wanted to get rid of the two stains on my two front teeth. The receptionists were very helpful and talked me through the procedures.
Once my teeth were whitened I had to get the stains removed and get them filled in the same colour as my teeth. I was initially worried it would hurt but it did not at all and the dentist and his assistant were very friendly.
All in all my experience here has been excellent - brilliant staff and smiles all round"

I have been a dental nurse for nearly 9 years and I am so scared when it comes to me having treatment. I have only ever had my upper left wisdom tooth out before, but recently my lower left wisdom tooth has been really hurting.
I am a dental nurse at Dental Health Care and I saw Jonathan to have this tooth out. I am really scared of needles, but he was FANTASTIC at administering the injection, I hardly felt it.
Gemma was lovely, she really made me feel calm, I was so anxious but the tooth was out within a couple of minutes. I was so shocked; Jonathan was so good, he really has reassured me and not made me so scared. He is very calm and professional.

Jonathan Jeff treated me. He was very reassuring from the outset. He explained each stage of the procedure, allowing plenty of time for the anesthetic to work. The actual removal of the crown and roots was done quickly and with ease. I was suprised by this - pleasantly so."

After I had my youngest son at the age of 35, I noticed that my gums were receding and gaps were appearing between all of my teeth.
With some careful hygiene treatment, I managed to keep 'on top' of the problem for about 12 years. However about 3 years ago things had deteriorated noticeably. I began to lose teeth and eventually felt that all my teeth were unstable.
I consulted Dan, who immediately put my mind at rest by reassuring me that there was a solution other than the 'dreaded false teeth'. I made an appointment with Guy who explained all the options to me. I decided that implants for all my teeth were the best option for me as it was only going to be a matter of time before I was going to lose them all.
Every step of the way I was told in 'lay mans' terms what was going to happen - so no surprises. The care and attention to detail have been second to none.
The day of the implants was a long one but no pain incredibly.
I took 'Nurofen' for a couple of days but only as a precaution, and within 24 hours I was tucking into dinner a one of my favourite restaurants, eating food that I would never have dared to risk previously for fear of my teeth dropping out into my food!!
This has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Everything has gone so smoothly and I feel I have got my confidence back.

I am delighted to have the opportunity to write about how pleased I am with my recent treatment for new veneers and crowns.
I had been thinking of having some cosmetic work to my front teeth for quite a while, but I was hesitating as it seemed quite a big step to take and you hear of people who have had this treatment and are not very satisfied with the outcome. But I must say that I have nothing but praise for the treatment I have had, and the professional and caring way it was carried out by Sam Smith. A great deal of trouble was taken to ensure that I was completely happy with the end result, nothing was rushed, so I had time to decide exactly how I wanted my teeth to look.
All the staff at the practice have been incredibly friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, which made my visits so pleasant. I always had a warm welcome from the girls on Reception, you never felt like just another patient. I also found the text appointment reminders really useful and another example of how professional the practice is.
It has been a confidence boost to have nice teeth and I am so delighted with them I can't stop smiling! "

It was January 2007 during a routine visit to Eva Milburn, the hygienist at Dental Health Care, Hertford, that she suggested that I enquire about having a 'smile makeover' for my somewhat crooked teeth. Until then, I had managed good dental hygiene and consequently had few cavities over my 62 years o life. But the teeth were uneven, did not result in a pleasant smile and my upper jaw did protrude.
Several visits to cosmetic dentist Dr Sam Smith gave me an insight as to what could be achieved and how, and how much it might cost. Sam's dental knowledge is boundless, and she never lost patience with my endless questioning (and writing down of the answers!) about the possibilities. I searched the internet for information about veneers v. Lumineers and compared costs in the UK with those in Poland and Hungary. All possibilities were explored and procedures explained with care and professional accuracy. The 'doctor knows best' attitude of years gone by was nowhere in evidence, and as a consequence, I developed total trust in Sam's professional competence - and came to like her as a kind and warm person too.
7 visits later Sam was doing a wax-up for installation of veneers for 12 of my upper teeth. This was done over three separate dates in December. This was the first time in my life that I hugged a dentist! I have been smiling ever since.
Sam was available whenever I needed to speak to her. I recollect several text messages and phone calls during weekends and out of hours in which Sam was most caring and helpful. And, because her husband, Dan, is the root canal expert, I also met him during the course of treatment.
Finally, but by no means least, I have also worked with many of the nursing staff, including the lovely and patient Jess and Jo, and the reception staff including Vicki.
I guess I have met and been attended to by quite a few of the staff at Dental Health Care during this experience and I really appreciate all of them. But my overall favourite is Sam!

Three fairly painless injections and less than one minute on the tooth, it was in a little jar and in my hand. Couldn't believe it
